A hospital in Jamui, Bihar, allegedly gave a patient a cold drink bottle to collect urine since there was a shortage of appropriate medical equipment, which was an improbable and probably dangerous jugaad. On Monday evening, a Sprite bottle rather than a urine bag was given to a man who had been unconscious and had been brought to the Sadar Hospital in the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the absence of predetermined arrangements established early on Tuesday, the team had to hunt for alternatives and use plastic bottles. In the meantime, the incident was captured on camera to alert authorities and citizens to the dire situation facing the hospital’s medical staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A video was shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, in which a man was seen lying on a hospital bed with an oxygen mask and a saline bottle. But instead of a urine bag the hospital authorities have given him a Sprite bottle to collect urine. In the video, the bottle was kept in between his legs, and a small hole was made in his pants to pass the urine. The man in the video was looking like he was suffering from some major health issues as he was unable to move.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
