Superstar Rajnikanth is back at the box with his latest offering, Jailer. According to reports, Jailer has already earned more than Rs 19 crore in advance bookings and there is still a day left for its release. The film will be out in theatres on August 10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Reportedly, the film has earned Rs 12.8 crore in advanced bookings in India from which the Tamil version of the film collected Rs 11.7 crore whereas the Telugu version of the film collected Rs 1.1 crore. According to the reports, in the US, Jailer has sold 37,000 tickets amounting to a collection of $802,628 which is Rs 6.64 crore when converted into Indian currency. It is expected to cross $1 million in the sale of advance bookings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As per reports, out of the Rs123 crore that the theatrical rights of Jailer were sold for, Rs 60 crore were from Tamil Nadu, Rs 12 crore from Telangana, Rs10 crore from Andhra Pradesh, Rs 5.5 crore from Kerala, and another Rs 4 crore from rest of India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was reported that Chennai and Bengaluru offices have given leave to their employees on the day of Jailer\u2019s launch. On top of that, some companies have even handed out free tickets to the movie for the employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A company\u2019s holiday notice on account of Jailer\u2019s release has been going viral. The company says in its notice that it declared a holiday for August 10 to avoid piled-up requests of leave to the HR department. The notice further added that they go the extra mile to support anti-piracy by providing free tickets to its employees. In the notice, they also called Rajnikanth their one and only superstar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
