Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke in the debate on the no-trust motion in the Lok Sabha today. His speech came amid calls from the opposition demanding his statement on Manipur violence. Calling the no confidence motion auspicious for BJP, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed gratitude to the crores of people in the country for repeatedly having faith in his party. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Recalling that no confidence motion came in 2018 too, the Prime Minister remarked that the NDA government will come with a grand victory in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls. He further conveyed that he sees the opposition have decided that with the blessing of the people, NDA and BJP will come back with a thumping victory breaking all their previous records. He further stated that he is the greatest proof that whoever Opposition abuses, ends up flourishing. He added that this debate is the floor test of the opposition and not the ruling government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Launching a series of attacks on the opposition, the Prime Minister claimed that the opposition is not worried about the poor but is worried about the power. In an attempt to mock the opposition, he said that fielding was done by the opposition, fours and sixes were hit by the ruling party. He further claimed the Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury who also gave his speech today in the Lok Sabha, turned jaggery into cow dung as he was not given the opportunity to speak by the opposition party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mentioning that poverty is decreasing in the country and that nearly 13.5 crore people have come out of poverty, PM Modi voiced that he has some secrets to share. He continues that the opposition is working as a black vaccine for the progress of the country, adding that disbelief and pride has sat inside the opposition. The Prime Minister voiced that there is a conspiracy to stain the reputation of the country abroad. He further noted that the Congress neither has policy nor intent. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Apparently referring to the opposition meet in Bengaluru, where the opposition revealed the name of opposition alliance \u2018INDIA\u2019, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that a few days ago, the opposition has cremated UPA in Bengaluru and are also celebrating. Commenting on the alliance name, Narendra Modi said that in order to keep them alive, the opposition is forced to take help from the NDA but they could not leave \u2018I\u2019. He voiced that the opposition thinks that it can rule India by changing its name. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Taking a dig at the Congress Party, Prime Minister Narendra Modi pointed out the failures of Congress in different states. He underlined that in Tamil Nadu, Congress won in 1962 and since\u00a0 1962, the people of Tamil Nadu are saying no Congress. In West Bengal, they won in 1972. In UP, Bihar and Gujarat they won in 1985 and the people of these states are saying no Congress. Continuing his attack, Narendra Modi accused Congress of being a shop of loot and market of lies, which has sold emergency, torture on Sikhs, partition, appeasement politics and the Army\u2019s self-respect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After nearly 1.5 hours of the Prime Minister speech, the opposition parties staged a walkout. Reacting to the situation, he said that those who raise questions do not have the courage to hear the answers. Following this, the Prime Minister spoke on the situation of Manipur. He expressed that whatever has happened in Manipur is unforgivable and attempts have been made to punish the war culprits. He added that both state and the central government are doing everything possible to ascertain that the accused get the strictest punishment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He further stated that he wants to assure the people that peace will be restored in Manipur in the coming time. He conveyed that he wants to tell the people of Manipur including the women and daughters that the country is with them. He expressed that Manipur will move forward with a new confidence and that development will take place in the northeastern state. He continued that northeast is the part of their hearts. Slamming Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Narendra Modi said he doesn\u2019t know why some imagine Bharat Mata\u2019s death.
