In a video message, Trinamool Congress MP Derek O\u2019Brien asserted that PM Modi conveniently skirted around the pressing issue of Manipur for the initial 90 minutes of his speech. Nonetheless, when INDIA chose to stage a walkout, the Prime Minister\u2019s calculated response was swift. He added that on the positive side, the teflon coating has gone and the sheen has vanished. He claimed that after the Prime Minister\u2019s speech today one is confident that INDIA will win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his speech ripped into the opposition, mainly Congress claiming that they are not worried about the hunger of the poor, but are only worried about power. Reacting to the speech, Congress asserted that the Prime Minister was gripped with Congress Phobia and that is why he criticized the party throughout his speech in Lok Sabha. Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge accused the Prime Minister of using the debate as an election rally. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, the Aam Aadmi Party (APP) took potshots at the BJP and shared a video on Twitter, in which some BJP MPs were seen taking a nap during the Prime Minister\u2019s speech. Sharing the video, the AAP wrote that the Prime Minister gave such a boring speech that their own MPs fell asleep. Trinamool Congress also attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for allocating \u201cone time\u201d time for Manipur. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In his 2 hours long speech, Prime Minister Narendra spoke on Manipur violence for almost 10 minutes.
