BJP leader Sana Khan, who had been missing for the last few days, was killed. In a new twist, police have revealed that she was murdered by her husband.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sana Khan, a Minority Wing Chief of BJP\u2019s Maharashtra unit, had gone to meet her husband Amit alias Pappu Sahu in Madhya Pradesh\u2019s Jabalpur and she had to be back to Nagpur within two days but Sana never returned back home.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a joint operation of Jabalpur and Nagpur Police, the main accused Sana Khan\u2019s husband Amit was arrested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to reports, Amit has been a dealer and involved in a liquor smuggling business. He was also running a roadside eatery near Jabalpur. The report also suggests that there have been arguments between the couple for the last few months and mainly regarding financial transactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In an interrogation, it was confessed by Amit that he murdered his wife Sana Khan. The accused further said that he had beaten Sana which led to her death. He also confessed that he disposed of her body by throwing it in the Hiran River, which is around 45km away from Jabalpur.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The police have been investigating the matter thoroughly at the crime scene after the accused admitted his crime and revealed the necessary information in the case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The couple had been having a long-standing dispute over money after they married. Sana had come from Nagpur to Jabalpur to meet Amit, and during their meeting, a heated argument ensued. Amit then struck Sana on the head, causing her death, according to the police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The police have stated that they are actively looking for another person related to this case. Currently, the police are interrogating the arrested suspect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After arriving in Jabalpur from Nagpur on August 2nd, Sana Khan went missing. Despite the search efforts by her family members who came to Jabalpur, her location remains unknown.
