Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his declaration to address the nation from Red Fort in the next year\u2019s Independence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kharge slamming PM Modi said it shows his arrogance and he will hoist the flag at his home next year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PM Modi while delivering his last Independence Day address from the Ramparts of Red Fort before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections said he will list out the country\u2019s achievements in his Independence Day speech from the Red Fort next year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said while observing the Independence Day next year, he will present the progess of the nation and sing the song of praise of the country\u2019s strength, resolve and sucess with a greater confidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kharge in his response to the Prime Minister\u2019s remarks said winning or losing is in the hands of people, in the hands of voters and to declare in 2023 that in 2024 he will hoist the flag is arrogance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prime Minister Modi as per the decade long tradition had reached the Red Fort to take part in the celebration of 77th<\/sup> Independence Day, hoist the Tricolour and address the country for the 10 consecutive time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Kharge, who skipped the Red Fort event stated the reason that he had some eye-related issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He said firstly, he suffered from some eye-related issues.
