A video that has gone viral on the social media platform, X (formerly Twitter) shows the cricketer playing a few shots during his batting practice. He could be seen in his element and showcasing his finesse in the video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rishabh Pant has been going through his ongoing recovery process at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru and as per the latest official update from the BCCI, released on July 21. The cricket star has begun batting as well as keeping, according to reports. His fans welcomed him by cheering him on with power. In one instance, Pant had smashed an aloft shot towards long-off, meeting massive applause and support from his fans in the field. Pant had undergone ligament surgery earlier this year after suffering many injuries in a car crash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BCCI had said in their update about Pant that he is currently following a fitness programme designed for him which includes strength, flexibility and running. The absence of such a crucial member of the Indian team, Pant, was felt across the composition of the team, especially in Test cricket. Pant\u2019s absence was heartily felt during the World Test Championship final this year, where India was hoping to end the 10-year ICC title drought but wavered against Australia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the focus falls onto the One Day International (ODI) format with the World Cup in October-November later this year, KL Rahul is probable to fill up the position of first-choice wicketkeeper-batsman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>India will also be participating in the Asia Cup prior to the World Cup where India commences on September 2 against Pakistan.
