In an unfortunate incident, an Indigo pilot, just moments before the flight take off passed out at the Nagpur, Maharashtra airport boarding gate and was later declared brought dead in the hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The pilot was scheduled to fly a Pune, Maharashtra bound flight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is the third case reported in a week.Two of them involve Indian pilots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On August 16, a senior pilot associated with Qatar Airways, was travelling from Delhi to Doha, Qatar in flight QR 579 as a passenger. In the mid of the flight, the pilot felt unwell and died. The flight was immediately diverted to Dubai upon this medical emergency. The pilot had formerly worked with AllianceAir and SpiceJet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a similar case, on August 14, a pilot of LATAM flight of Chile died on board while the plane was enroute Santiago from Miami.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There were more such cases, where the pilots in different airlines had to face medical emergencies in the skies in the past few weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
