After Ponniyin Selvan: PS-1 which was released in 2022 and 2.0 which was released in 2018, the Rajnikanth-Tamannaah starrer has become the third Tamil film to enter the Rs 500 crore club. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As per reports, on its 10th day, Jailer earned Rs 18 crore in India in all languages according to early estimates. The Tamil action film has been dubbed in Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jailer had earned upto Rs 48 crores on its opening day, August 10. It has earned nearly Rs 263.9 crore in India up till now. After earning around Rs 10.05 crore on Friday, the film saw a big rise on Saturday, grossing Rs 18 crore. Not just in India but on a global level, Rajnikanth\u2019s thriller is now the third film in Tamil cinema to surpass the \u20b9500 crore mark. In addition to that, it is the second fastest movie to do so after the Rajnikanth-Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0. which entered in 7 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The film helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar, starring Vinayakan, Ramya Krishnan, Vasanth Ravi, and Tamannaah Bhatia in significant roles. The film\u2019s storyline is about a man seeking vengeance for the death of his son who is a police officer. Appearances by Jackie Shroff, Shiva Rajkumar and Mohanlal are also seen in Jailer. The music of the film has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Jailer is a production of Sun Pictures production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A film critic wrote in a review that Rajnikanth and Nelson Dilipkumar rediscovered the alchemy of a masala film. He says that Jailer is Rajnikanth\u2019s version of Kamal Hassan\u2019s Vikran with a twist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not long ago, the Tamil superstar talked about his new film\u2019s success. He arrived in Lucknow on Friday and talking about his visit he said that he would watch the film with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
