Sunny Deol, an actor and a Member of Parliament from Gurdaspur will not contest the 2024 Lok Sabha election rather he will serve the nation as an actor. The Border actor said this while giving an interview to the news channel. He also questioned the behaviour of MPs when asked about his low attendance in Lok Sabha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sunny Deol said he does not want to fight any elections as of now, he said election his election will be as an actor and asserted that Deol said he can serve the nation as an actor which he has been doing for several years in the industry. Deol further said that he can serve, to the youth, to the country, is being a good actor and bringing out good projects. He does not want to do things which are beyond his will, the Gaddar 2 actor said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said this when asked if he would say no to the BJP if the party reaches out to him and gives him a ticket again to contest the Lok Sabha elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sunny Deol said politics does not suit his family. While discussing his own underwhelming political career, he mentioned that his father, legendary Bollywood actor Dharmendra, also served as an MP for the Bikaner seat after winning the 2004 general elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It’s not about attendance for me. When I go there I see, there are people sitting here Lok Sabha who run the country, people from all parties sitting here, how do these people behave? We tell others don’t behave like this or that, at least we should have the etiquette of how we do and what we do.
