A 30-year-old woman was gangraped by a doctor and unidentified person at an IVF centre in Rajasthan\u2019s Jaipur. The incident came to light on Thursday when the woman alleged being raped by a doctor and unidentified persons at an IVF centre in Jaipur. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The woman in her complaint mentioned that she was gang raped at the Jaipur IVF centre. THE First Information Report at Jawahar Nagar police station also noted that the woman visited the IVF centre for egg donation. The 30-year-old woman in her complaint also claimed that she was promised money in return for egg donation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Reportedly, a police officer asserted that the woman visited the IVF clinic with her husband and child. The woman further alleged that at the clinic, she was taken to an operation room for the IVF procedure. Reports state that the procedure included the administration of injections, which reportedly left her unconscious. Taking a cognizance of the woman\u2019s complaint under Section 376 (D) (gang rape) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
DCP (East) Gyan Chandra Yadav also asserted that they received a zero FIR from Ajmer. The police official stated that the woman has named three persons, including a doctor, but the identities of the suspects have to be corroborated because she is yet to come to the city for investigation into the matter. DCP Gyan Chandra Yadav added that the exact location of where the gang rape took place could not be confirmed. In addition, Gyan Chandra Yadav also stated that the place where the IVF centre is located will be verified after speaking to the woman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In another separate incident, a doctor provided some eggs from a patient undergoing IVF treatment to two women without her consent in the national capital, according to reports.
