The BCCI shared a statement by Team India\u2019s head coach Rahul Dravid on the fitness status of KL Rahul, who made it in the Indian squad of Asia Cup 2023 which starts on Wednesday. Head Coach Rahul Dravid said in a statement, KL Rahul is progressing well but will be unavailable for India\u2019s first two matches, India vs Pakistan and India vs Nepal, of the Asia Cup 2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rahul made the 17-member squad led by Rohit Sharma, while still carrying a niggle, for the six-nation Asia Cup hosted by Pakistan and Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dravid said the thigh injury that kept him out of action and the niggle are unrelated. He said at the pre-departure presser that KL has had a good week with us, he is playing and progressing well but he will be unavailable for the Kandy leg of the trip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
