Head Coach Rahul Dravid said in a statement, KL Rahul is progressing well but will be unavailable for India\u2019s first two matches, India vs Pakistan and India vs Nepal, of the Asia Cup 2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rahul made the 17-member squad led by Rohit Sharma, while still carrying a niggle, for the six-nation Asia Cup hosted by Pakistan and Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dravid said the thigh injury that kept him out of action and the niggle are unrelated. He added that they will get a report from the physiotherapist at some stage. They all expect him to be fit if not at the start, by the second or third game, but he is on track.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The coach further added that the NCA will be looking after him for the next few days while they are travelling. They will reassess on 4th September then make the call on his participation and take it from there.
