The 25-year-old Chopra, who is also the reigning Olympic champion, made three legal throws that were, measuring 80.79 metres, 85.22 metres, and 85.71 metres, while the other three were fouls. He came in last place, trailing Czech Republic’s Jakub Vadlejch (85.86m), who had taken home the bronze in the World Championships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before capturing a historic gold medal at the World Championships in Budapest on Sunday with a throw of 88.17m, Chopra had won the Diamond League meetings in Doha (May 5) and Lausanne (June 30)\u2014his only two events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
