Preparations are in full swing in the national capital ahead of the G20 Summit which is scheduled to take place on September 9 and September 10. According to reports, the key roads in Central and New Delhi will remain restricted for the residents of Delhi during this weekend on September 2 and 3 as Delhi Traffic POlice will conduct full dress rehearsals for the G20 Summit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As per the advisory issued by the Delhi Traffic Police, carcades will migrate from other sections of the city to the two districts. Reportedly, the rehearsal times on September 2 will be 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM, 4:30 PM – 6 PM and 7 PM – 11 PM. On September 3, the rehearsals will be carried out from 8 AM – 9 AM, 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM and 12:30 PM – 4:00 PM on September 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As far as reports are concerned, the carcades will move towards the New Delhi district on Saturday. Traffic in the national capital will be regulated on major stretches such as Sardar Patel Marg to Panchsheel Marg, 11 Murti, Sardar Patel Marg to Kautilya Marg, Bhairon Road to Ring Road, Zakir Hussain Marg to Subramaniam Bharti Marg, Windsor Place to Kartavya Path, Tolstoy Marg to Janpath, Joseph Tito Marg to Siri Fort Road, Press Enclave Road to Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition, restrictions will also be imposed at Teen Murti, Gol Methi, Brigadier Hoshiyar Singh Marg, Windsor Place, Satya Marg, Yashwant Place, Mansingh Road and around Claridges hotel. The Delhi Traffic Police also noted that Shershah Road, C-Hexagon, Mathura Road, Barakhamba Road traffic signal, Vivekanand Marg along with the Moti Bagh, Chirag Dilli, and Lodhi flyovers will also be regulated. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
