Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi spoke at the joint press conference after the two day meeting of the INDIA alliance parties in Mumbai. He said it is impossible for the BJP to defeat them if the opposition leaders stay united. He said the INDIA alliance represents 60 percent of the Indian population. Gandhi said two big steps were taken during the two day meeting. A fourteen member central coordination committee will be formed. All seat sharing decisions and discussions to be expediated and to be made at the earliest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gandhi said he was confident the INDIA bloc will defeat the BJP. He was thankfull to the leaders of the coalition and said the main purpose of the alliance is the relationships that are made among the members of the alliance. Gandhi added the two meetings helped in uniting the different leaders of the alliance so that they can work together as one unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said all the leaders of the alliance were flexible in the way they approached different matters. Gandhi said there were differences in thinking but he was very impressed by seeing how those differences were minimized for the greater good of the country. Gandhi said the INDIA alliance will demonstrate and prove the corrupt side of the BJP and the NDA led government at the centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gandhi further stated there is a definite nexus between the BJP government and one particular businessman. Gandhi further added the prime minister should make his position clear on Mr Adani at the upcoming G-20 summit.
