In a tragic incident, three cops were killed and two others were injured in a road accident in Madhya Pradesh\u2019s Khargone, according to reports. The car in which the cops were returning to office after being deployed at a religious procession collided with a cement laden truck. The incident reportedly took place around 4:30 am. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Reports stated that on the way, the police car rammed into a cement laden truck from the rear. In the accident, three Madhya Pradesh cops died on the spot and two others suffered serious injuries. The injured cops were hurried to the hospital for immediate treatment. As far as reports, are concerned the deceased have been identified as Vimal Tiwari (SI), Ramesh Bhaskar (SI) and Ramesh Kumawat (Constable)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
An official concerned with the matter said that the incident occurred near Badud village under Sanawad police station limits. In addition, Superintendent of Police Dharmveer Singh asserted that two sub inspectors and a constable posted in Sanawad police station died on spot when the car rammed into a stationary truck. According to reports, two cops who are currently under treatment in Indore are Constable Raghuveer Rawat and nagar sainik Komal Dangode. The injured were given first aid at the Government hospital in Sanawad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking to a newspaper, Sanawad police station in-charge Nirmal Kumar Shrivas said that the policemen were returning to Sanawad after discharging their duties at the annual fair, Shivdola in Khargone, when their hatchback car rammed into a truck parked on the roadside at Saturday morning. According to multiple media reports, the postmortem examination of the deceased is being carried out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the past month, five men were killed after the car they were travelling in collided with a truck in Khandwa district. The accident occurred on Punasa-Sanawad road.
