The film has so far made Rs 284.63 crore in its first week of release, Rs 134.47 crore in its second week, and Rs 63.35 crore in its third. The popular 2001 release Gadar: Ek Prem Katha has a sequel titled Gadar 2, which was released in theatres this year in August.
