The film recorded a total box office collection of Rs 9 crores as per reports after an opening of Rs 15.25 crore. The total box office collection stands at Rs 24.25 crores nett.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to reports Kushi had Tellugu occupancy of around 53 percent and Tamil occupancy of around 45 percent on Saturday. The Telugu film was dubbed in Hindi and Tamil as well. The film had collected Rs 30.1 crore in worldwide collection on Friday. The film is based on the life of actor Savitri. The Kushi trailer shows Vijay as Viplav and Samnatha as Aradhya who fall in love in Kashmir. They get married despite an opposition from their respective families. The marriage reaches a roadblock as the two deal with differences between them.
