Prime Minister Modi rejected Pakistan\u2019s and China\u2019s objections on holding G20 meetings in Jammu and Kashmir. Speaking to the media the PM said it is natural to hold meetings in every part of the country. PM added India is beautiful and diverse nation. Talking to the media PM Modi spoke on a wide range of issues including G20 summit, terrorism, Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas model, India\u2019s economic growth etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PM Modi spoke on India\u2019s presidency at the G20 linking it to its efforts in fighting the pandemic, vaccination and human centric development approach. He said India\u2019s response to the pandemic through a coordinated and clear approach, direct assistance to the most vulnerable using technology and running the world\u2019s largest vaccine drive, and sharing vaccines and medicines with 150 countries were well appreciated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PM Modi said debt crisis as a matter of concern for the world, especially the developing countries. He said citizens from different countries are keenly following the decisions being taken by governments in this regard. Modi said countries that are going through debt crises or have gone through it have started giving greater importance to financial discipline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Modi called for reforms in the United Nations saying a mid 20th<\/sup> century approach cannot serve the problems the world was facing in the 21st<\/sup> century. Modi said today\u2019s world is a multipolar world where institutions are extremely important for a rules based order that is sensitive and fair to all concerns. Modi further added institutions can retain relevance if they change with the times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n PM Modi said India will become a developed nation by 2047, while hitting out at the previous UPA governments.
