Kharge wrote on X ( formerly Twitter) the push to form a committee on One Nation and One election is a way for dismantling the Fedral structure of India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kharge raised questions about the policy and said this idea has been extensively examined and rejected by three committees in the past. The Congress leader inquired if this huge exercise unilaterally be undertaken without consulting the political parties at the state level and international level. Gandhi said INDIA is a union of states , the idea of one nation, one election is an attack on the Union and all its states. The Law ministry on Saturday notified the formation of a committee to look into one nation One Election push put forth by the Modi government. But politics has erupted over the move with Congress leader of Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowhdhary refusing to join the panel. Aam Aadmi Party Leader Sourabh Bharadwaj told the media it looked like the central government is afraid.
