A shocking incident has been reported from Uttar Pradesh\u2019s Bareilly where a Dalit woman was gang-raped and forced to eat beef after being drugged by two Muslim men.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to police, the victim\u2019s friend, who is a Muslim woman, was also involved in the crime. The Muslim woman invited the victim to a hotel where the Dalit woman was gang-raped, police said. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The victim had reportedly borrowed Rs 30,000 money from her Muslim friend with a promise to return it. On September 2, the Muslim woman called her to a cafe where the other two men were already present. \u00a0The accused planned and tricked into taking the victims to a hotel where the two men gang-raped her and the woman filmed the act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00a0The accused has been identified as Shoaib and Nazim. Shoaib is a B Pharma student and Nazim is a barber by profession. Police said that the accused also recorded video of sexual acts to blackmail the victim, and were demanding Rs 5 lakh. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Later, the accused sent the video to the victim\u2019s fiance and tried to flee to Kashmir, as per reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The victim lodged a complaint with the police after incessant blackmail from the accused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A case was registered under relevant sections of the SC\/ST Act based on the victim’s complaint. It was also a case of extortion. All the accused have been arrested, a senior police official said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In another incident, a Dalit woman was allegedly raped and set on fire by a man in Rajasthan\u2019s Barner district. Rajasthan police arrested the accused who lives near the victim\u2019s house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the reports, the accused Shakur Khan broke into the house of the woman when she was alone and raped her. Following this, he poured some chemicals on the woman and set her on fire and fled the spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
