Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Joe Biden held a bilateral meeting on Friday ahead of the G20 Summit commencing from today. The bilateral meeting was held at the residence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sideline of the G20 Summit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
President Biden and PM Modi discussed a wide range of issues and ways to further deepen and diversify the bond between both countries. The discussion took place for over 50 minutes about the defence partnership, cooperation in nuclear energy, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies like 6G between the two leaders. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PM Modi and US President Biden were positive about the outcome of the G20 Summit. The Summit will advance the common aims of increasing sustainable development, strengthening multilateral cooperation and building consensus around inclusive economic policies to encounter the larger global challenges, the two leaders showed confidence about it. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
President Biden took to X and shared the outcome of the bilateral meeting with PM Modi. He said that throughout the G20 Summit, the two leaders will affirm that the United States-India partnership is stronger, closer, and more dynamic than at any time in history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to reports, PM Modi expressed his appreciation for US President Biden\u2019s vision and commitment to further strengthening the India-US partnership as a Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership during the meeting. The partnership is basically based on strategic convergences, democratic values, and strong people-to-people ties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PM Modi and President Biden also discussed several regional and global issues. The two leaders also believed that the partnership between the two countries was not only beneficial and limited to the people of the US-India but also across the globe. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With the G20 Summit, commencing today, PM Modi addressed the global leaders and welcomed them.
