The extension will span for three years, from the financial year 2023-24 to 2025-26, will a total allotment of Rs 1650 crore, as per reports.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The news follows after Centre reduced LPG prices by Rs 200 in response to oil companies increasing domestic LPG prices at the end of August. He concluded that the scheme has tremendously improved the lives of women in the country, particularly those living in rural areas.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the aegis of the existing Ujjwala 2.0 framework, beneficiaries of Ujjwala will also receive the first refill and a stove for free. In addition, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana consumers will benefit from a targeted subsidy of Rs 200 per 14.2 kg LPG cylinder for up to 12 refills every year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The continuation of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana is important to ascertain that eligible low income households receive the scheme&#8217;s intended benefits and facilitate access to clean cooking fuel.
