The injured are undergoing treatment in a city hospital. The DM said that their team are present in the city hospital. The Gautam Budh Nagar DM has cited negligence and has stated that strict action will be taken against the builder. It is noteworthy that the project was under Amrapali, which was taken over by NBCC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The police announced that the entire project would be evacuated within two hours, and sealing proceedings would begin shortly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier, a similar incident happened where a 73-year-old woman died when the lift cable of a high-rise society in Noida snapped leading to a free fall between floors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The lift did not fall to the ground but was stuck midway between the floors of the building, Paras Tierea in Sector 137 Noida, after free fall. The elderly woman was alone when she entered the lift and fainted inside due to the breaking of its wire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The incident took place at 4:30 p.m. in a high-rise society located in Sector 137, Noida.
