The Congress Working Committee (CWC) will meet today to decide the strategy for the five state assembly elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Officials claimed the three-day key conference in Hyderabad is intended to enhance the party’s campaign in poll-bound Telangana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The CWC meeting will be presided over by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. They also stated that Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi will be present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Party national secretary K C Venugopal expressed confidence that the Congress would form governments in the next elections in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, and Mizoram. There could even be talk about staging a Bharat Jodo Yatra 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The grand-old party will conduct a massive rally in Hyderabad on Monday. Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said, they will make six promises to the people of Telangana. He also said that they are hoping that when the elections come, the party will receive a clear mandate from the people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The CWC conference, according to Jairam Ramesh, will be historic and transformative for Telangana politics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The leader further said, understand one thing, the Modi government and the KCR government are two sides of the same coin, he said, launching a stinging attack on the BRS government led by K Chandrasekhar Rao. There is no distinction between them; there is Narendra Modi in Delhi and KCR in Hyderabad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Telangana will see a triangle election between the BJP, the incumbent BRS, and the Congress. The Telangana election would be a litmus test for the INDIA alliance before the pivotal Lok Sabha elections in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
K C Venugopal, the AICC General Secretary, expressed optimism about the CWC meeting’s ability to bring about political change in Telangana and challenge the present Bharat Rashtra Samithi government led by K Chandrasekhar Rao.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Last month, the Congress recreated the Congress Working Committee, with some unexpected additions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
