This comes after Anantnag casualties where an operation is still underway in the district to neutralise terrorists who have taken positions in the forest area in a hilly terrain. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Saturday morning, the Jammu and Kashmir Police informed that an encounter had started between terrorists and the Army &amp; Baramulla Police in the forward area of Uri, Hathlanga in Baramulla district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After a while, the security forces neutralised two terrorists in an encounter that broke out between terrorists and the Army and Baramulla Police in the forward area of Uri, Hathlanga in Baramulla district. The security forces also arrested two militant associates from Baramulla district. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The two arrested militants were identified by the Jammu and Kashmir Police. Zaid Hassan Malla, a resident of Mir Sahib Baramulla and Mohammad Arif Channa, a resident of Stadium Colony Baramulla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The police spokesperson said that the two were involved in cross-border smuggling of arms and ammunition with the help of Pakistan-based terror handlers and its further distribution to LeT terrorists for carrying out terror activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier, in Anantnag, Army and Police personnel were killed in an encounter with terrorists and an operation by Indian security forces is underway to neutralise the terrorists. For this, the forces have deployed drones, to find out the location of terrorists as the operation going on for the last four days. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An operation was launched after specific input was received to neutralise two to three trapped terrorists.
