The boy from Uttar Pradesh has the Guinness World Record for longest hair on male teenager. The Guinness World Records (GWR) posted Chahal\u2019s video on X on September 14. Due to their religious beliefs, Chahal\u2019s parents never cut his hair. He too follows this belief now. Chahal ties his hair in a bun and covers it with a dastar (turban)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chahal said it takes around 20 minutes to wash his hair. Another half an hour is needed for the hair to dry. Brushing the hair takes 10 to 15 minutes. Chahal said his mother helps him in all the tasks. Chahal said if his mother was not there to help him he would not have been able to reach this record.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Indian teen Sidakdeep Singh Chahal has never cut his hair. He said when he was three or four years old his hair reached his shoulders like Johnny Depp. Chahal said his friends made fun of him and teased him when he went out to dry his hair outside. He threw tantrums and asked his parents to cut his hair. But now he has matured and says his hair is a part of his personality and he plans to keep them this way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The teen spends his time playing video games, reading, working out and studying. He felt happy on being recognized as a record holder. He said the record made all his work more meaningful. The longest hair on a teenager is 200 cm grown by NIlanshi Patel. She finally cut her hair in the year 2021. She donated her hair to a museum. Nobody holds the record for longest hair on a living man.
