She was talking to the media at the inauguration of two day India Smart Cities Conclave at the Brilliant Convention Centre. She added authentic regional food and street food would be served at these hubs so that tourists and local people can get a taste of the local cuisine in one place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Union urban development mInister Kaushal Kishore inaugurated the exhibition which showcased the achievements of 100 smart cities all over India. This also marked a formal opening of the conclave. President Droupadi Murmu graced the India Smart Cities Conclave 2023 on Wednesday. The conclave will be attended by Kaushal Kishore, Ashwini Vaishnav, ministers Bhupendre Yadav, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and others. Joint secretary and smart cities Mission director at the ministryof urban and housing affairs Kunal Kumar said that all projects under Smart Cities mission are expected to be completed by June 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/twitter.com\/AyushBhatiya\/status\/1706578981611589726\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Rs 1.70 lakh crore has been allocated for the development of smart cities across India. Rs 1.1 lakh crore of the amount allocated has been spent. The remaining 60 lakh crore will be spent by June 2024. He added the Surat Municipal corporation has taken the lead by starting consultancy services to other agencies.
