On October 5, the ODI championship is set to begin, and Pakistan will play their first match the following day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pakistan captain Babar Azam\u00a0said,\u00a0he was overwhelmed\u00a0by the affection and support his team has received in India. The Pakistani captain stated during the press conference that his team&#8217;s goal in India is to win the championship rather than just place in the top two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>India recently replaced Pakistan as the top-ranked nation after India defeated Australia 2-1 in the bilateral ODI series. However, after defeating the Netherlands in their opening league game at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, they have a chance to regain the top spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Babar and company will also play a few practise games before that. After losing to India and Sri Lanka in the Super Fours, they recently were unable to advance to the Asia Cup final.
