He addressed the students of BPUT and dignitaries. Patnaik said technology is the pivot of India\u2019s future. India\u2019s well being and growth is dependent on the hold on emerging and advanced technologies. He told the students should keep themselves engaged with the latest technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Patnaik said the Biju Patnaik University of technology is a pre eminent institution in the field of technical education. The institution has produced many brilliant technocrats whose contribution has been immense to the development of the Odisha and nation development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Patnaik said Odisha has made great strides in the skill development of its youth. This in turn  has provided the youth of the state with good employment opportunities. Patnaik added the BPUT tech festival has been conceived to engage students in sports, cultural and technical activities. Skill development Minister Pritiranjan Gharai said Odisha has become the epicentre of technical education.
