At the birthday celebrations for Kailash Soni, the BJP district spokesperson and president of the Rajasthani Jan Manch, in Bhilwara, the largest roti made in history. On Sunday this enormous roti was made, which took about 200 kg of wheat flour. It was prepared at the Hari Seva Udasin Ashram in the state with the help of 21 professional bakers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The roti was made with the intention of breaking the current world record of 145 kg and setting a new one. This massive roti is roughly 11.25 \u00d7 11.25 feet in size, and it is about 70 mm thick. It was prepared in a distinctive huge iron pan that was 16 feet by 12 feet in size and weighed roughly 1,000 kg. To create the largest roti in the world, at least 2,000 clay bricks and 1,000 kg of coal were needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There was an extensive audience present to watch the roti being prepared, which was live-streamed. While the younger generation often cuts cakes to mark birthdays, Kailash Soni said he chose to celebrate his birthday the old-fashioned way in an effort to combat the culture of cake-cutting in the nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To properly document this amazing accomplishment, the organisers have submitted applications to the Guinness Book of World Records and the International Book of Records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The roti was carefully made by confectioners from Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan. It took four to five hours to complete the roti from start to finish. Notably, the Guinness Book of World Records has acknowledged the previous record, which had been set by a 145 kilogramme roti prepared in Jamnagar, Gujarat. With a weight of 171 kg, this new roti has nonetheless successfully eclipsed the previous record.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A large crowd had assembled to see the making of this outstanding roti, Kailash Soni continued. It has been formally submitted for a challenge to the Guinness Book of World Records after completion. An iron pipe that was 20 feet long and around 70 millimetres thick was shaped into a cylinder. 207 kilogrammes of wheat flour, 10 kg of all-purpose flour, about 15 kg of desi ghee, along with water and oil, are the ingredients necessary to make this huge roti.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
