It seems Shubman Gill will miss India Vs Pakistan match on Saturday as well as the Indian batsman recovers from dengue. The BCCI for the first time took note of the Gill\u2019s condition and said in a statement that the 24 year old did not travel with the Indian team to New Delhi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gill has been hospitalized due to low platelet count and is currently undergoing treatment at Kaveri Hospital. Gill\u2019s low platelet count has become a cause of concern which prompted the doctors to suggest treatment and discourage the Indian cricketer from air travel. He is being attended by Dr Rizwan Khan who is the BCCI Physician.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gill came to Delhi and landed with the rest of the Indian team but has been absent since October 4. In dengue the fever might subside and the platelet count might improve. But the weakness takes time to leave the body. Similar treatment was carried out for Jasprit Bumrah in the month of September last year. Everyone saw the outcome of his treatment. Ishan Kisahan has been promoted to open the Indian innings with Rohit Sharma. But he got out on the very first ball of the innings without opening his account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The absence of Shubman Gill is a huge blow for the Indian team. He has been the most in form batsman scoring 1230 runs in one year with a batting average of 72.35.
