Hezbollah has threatened Israel after the country\u2019s Defence Force air strikes killed three of its members at the Lebanon border. Reportedly, Israeli shelling on Lebanon killed nearly three Hezbollah militants on Monday. The cross-border violence marked a significant expansion of a conflict between Israel and Palestinian militants in Gaza to the Israeli-Lebanese border.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Notably, Israeli air raids were prompted by attacks claimed by Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ). Hezbollah promised to respond as per rules to Israeli bombardment. In consecutive statements, Hezbollah asserted that three of its members had been killed in Israel\u2019s aggression on southern Lebanon on Monday afternoon. Military spokesperson Richard Hect told media that approximately 1,500 bodies of Hamas militants were found in Israel around the Gaza Strip and added that the security forces had more or less restored control over the border with Gaza. The spokesperson added that infiltrations can still happen. He further mentioned that the army had nearly completed evacuation of all the communities around the border.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Israel is reeling under a deadly attack by Hamas operatives who entered through the border fence under a barrage of rocket fire on Saturday morning and claimed the lives of more than 900 people inside Israel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In response to the attack, Israel is carrying out a massive air and artillery bombardment of Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip that has so far killed at least 687 people in the coastal enclave.
