Early on Friday morning, the first flight of relief effort Operation Ajay, which was bringing 212 Indians who were stranded in Israel, touched down at the Delhi airport. Thursday night, the plane took off from Ben Gurion airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The flights were scheduled to assist individuals who were stranded in Israel due to the Israel-Hamas conflict, as Air India promptly halted its operations on October 7, the day hostilities broke out, and they have remained suspended until this day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to those with knowledge of the proceedings, the first round of flights will allow Indians who choose to leave Israel return home by operating till October 18.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
