In view of the highly anticipated India-Pakistan Cricket World Cup match, Indian Railways will run special trains to Mumbai to Ahmedabad. The match will take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 14. The Western Railway announced that it will run one more pair of superfast special trains between Mumbai and Ahmedabad to ease the extra rush of cricket fans excited for a crucial match.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Reports said that the bookings for the special trains will be open from October 13, 2023. The special trains will have approximately 1500 seats. In addition, the tickets will be available at all reservation counters and on the IRCTC website. Railways officials noted that more than 1500 tickets for the special trains got booked in less than 20 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As per the Western Railways, the Mumbai Central-Ahmedabad special train will depart at 9:30 pm on Friday, October 13 and will reach Ahmedabad at 5:30 am on the following day. Ahmedabad-Mumbai Central special train will leave Ahmedabad at 4 am on Sunday, October 15 and it will arrive at Mumbai Central at 12:10 pm on the same day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Furthermore, the rail authorities concerned about the matter revealed that a special fare will be charged for these trains. The authorities further added that the passengers will be served a great bonanza for cricket fans to witness the India-Pakistan match.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As per reports, the special trains comprise AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier, sleeper class and general second class coaches. In addition, the special trains will also halt at Dadar, Borivali, Palghar, Vapi, Valsad, Navsari, Surat and Vadodara stations in both directions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
