He said Israel has been an occupier for nearly 70 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But this is not the first time Owaisi has openly supported Palestine over Israel. He shared a photo of Jerusalem\u2019s Al Aqsa mosque on X (formerly Twitter). Previously Owaisi had said India has supported Palestine historically and said there was a shift in India\u2019s policy when the Congress party came in power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The AIMIM MP shared an old video of Atal Bihari Vajpayee where he spoke in favour of Palestinian cause. Owaisi said a late BJP leader said that Palestine a land worth billions have been acquired. He added a post stamp had been released for solidarity with Palestine. More than 100 people have been kidnapped. Israel has been carrying out retaliatory air strikes in Gaza. Tel Aviv has also moved heavy weapons, tanks and its forces to the southern desert area around Gaza. It is preparing for a ground assault. Soldiers have been ordered to capture Gaza city in order to destroy the city\u2019s current leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>India has condemned the attack on Israel by Hamas militants.
