According to reports a total of 35 passengers were travelling on the mini bus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The accident took place about 12:30 am in Vaijapur area of the expressway in the district. The area where the accident took place is about 350 km from Mumbai. As a result The bus hit the container from the rear side. Twelve persons have died in the accident which includes a minor girl, six women and 5 men. 23 persons have been injured in the accident who had been admitted to a government hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Deeply saddened by the loss of precious lives in the accident on the Samruddhi Expressway. He said the truck was coming from the opposite side and had a headon collision with the mini bus. The people injured in&nbsp; the accident were rushed to Aurangabad and Vaijapur. Maharashtra Chief Minister has expressed grief over the incident. He has even announced a compensation of Rs 5 lakh to the families of the persons who had died in the accident.
