World Food day is celebrated on October 16 every year. This day emphasises on the need of furtherance of food security all over the world. Thousands of people all over the world suffer from hunger and the people across the world need to unite together to fight the problem of starvation all over the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The World Food day was organized to promote action and raise awareness and promote action on food related issues and global hunger. The World Food Day also helps in raising awareness about healthy diets. Many organisations all over the world celebrate World food day. This includes the world food programme and international fund for agricultural development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 2014 the World Food Day has been actively promoting the idea of feeding the world and eliminating poverty in rural nations. For the year 2023 the theme for World Food day is Water is food, water is life. Leave no one behind. Water is essential to sustain life on earth. It covers a majority of Earth\u2019s surface. It makes up 50 % of our bodies. It helps in supporting livelihoods and producing food. But this precious resource is not infinite and as a result water should not be taken for granted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
