A bench of Syed Aftab Hussain Rizvi and Justice Ashvani Kumar Mishra found Koli innocent in a series of twelve cases for which he had been awarded death penalty. Pandher had received a death sentence in two cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the court the prosecution failed to prove the case beyond reasonable doubt. The Nithari murder case is on of the most notorious incidents in Noida which sent shockwaves all over India. On further investigation Koli and his employer Pandher were taken into custody over the disappearance of one of the victims. After Kohlis\u2019 confession the nearby land area was dug by the police. Children\u2019s bodies were discovered after the digging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The police case was handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). 16 cases were registered by the CBI. Surrendra Koli was charge sheeted in all cases for destruction of evidence, rape, abduction and murder. Pandher was charged for immoral trafficking. Two policemen were also suspended from duty for failing to take action despite being informed about the children being missing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 435 metre house has been sealed where the horrific killings took place D-5 Sector 31 in Noida. The house has been ransacked and almost every other item is missing. Many families of the Nithari victims have been shifted elsewhere as they could not llve near the house where the alleged brutalities took place. Most of the victim\u2019s families had migrated from West Bengal and Bihar.
