Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Thursday asserted that Chief Minister of Telangana, KCR (K. Chandrashekar Rao) will lose the upcoming Telangana election. He added that the fight in the state is between the king and the people. He mentioned that the people of Telangana wanted people\u2019s rule but only one family ruled the state. Telangana will go into polls on November 30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Addressing a public rally at the poll-bound state, senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that in the country BJP employs CBI, ED, IT after the opposition leaders to scare them. However, there is no investigation against the Chief Minister of Telangana. He further claimed that BJP and BRS are one and the Chief Minister of BJP and Telangana are in collusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pitching about caste census, Rahul Gandhi said that his party will conduct caste census once voted to power. He added that the caste census will reveal how many Dalits, OBCs, tribals and general category people are there in the country and their participation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He further continued that today loans worth billions of rupees of the richest people of India are waived off, but if a farmer wants to get his bank loan waived off, they (authorities) will beat him up and drive him away. He stated that for such reasons caste census is needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking in the election-bound state, the senior Congress leader said that unlike KCR, he is not here to make false promises. He voiced that his party will provide women of the state Rs 2500 under Mahalaxmi Yojana, gas cylinder for Rs 500 and free travel in bus once they are in power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
