US Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti celebrated Durga Puja with vigour and enthusiasm. He visited a Durga Puja Pandal at Delhi\u2019s Chitranjan Park. He thoroughly enjoyed the Bengali customs and street food. He also danced the traditional dhanuchi naach which is dedicated towards Goddess Durga. The US envoy took to X formerly Twitter and shared the video of his incredible time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Garcetti was given a warm and traditional Bengali welcome. In the video he can be seen performing the aarti which is an integral part of Durga Puja with an earthen pot in his hand. He then went to meet the children performing on the stage. He later posed for pictures with the kids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Garcetti also relished Bengali street food like Jhal Muri and called it perfect. He concluded his visit by relishing fish, biryani and some traditional sweets.The ambassador took to X(formerly twitter) and wrote he had an incredible time doing Pandal hopping in CR park in Delhi. He said he participated in the cultural festivities and tasted amazing Pujo food. He said he was in complete awe on seeing the cultural diversity in India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
