In November 2023, banks in different states of the country will witness 15 days of holidays, including Sundays and second and fourth Saturdays. The bank holidays will vary from state to state. The Reserve Bank of India regulates the functions of banks and decides their schedules and holidays for the entire year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the Reserve Bank of India guidelines, both public sector banks and private sector banks do not work on Sundays and on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month. Notably, the banks also remain closed on public holidays, including regional holidays which are decided by the state governments.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Therefore, bank customers are advised to plan the bank-related works accordingly to avoid any last minute hassle. Reports stated, internet banking services and ATMs will remain operational throughout the country on all days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the month of November, people across the country will celebrate a number of festivals and special occasions, namely Kannada Rajyothsava\/Kut\/Karva Chauth, Wangala Festival, Govardhan Pooja\/Laxmi Puja, Deepawali\/Diwali, Bali Pratipada, Vikram Samvant New Year Day, Laxmi Puja, Bhaidooj\/Chitragupt Jayanti\/Laxmi Puja (Deepawali)\/Ningol Chakkouba\/Bhratridwitiya, Chhath, Seng Kutsnem\/Egaas-Bagwaal, among others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
