Australia defeated the Netherlands by 309 runs. This is the biggest margin of victory in the history of the tournament. Australia broke its own record from 2015 where they beat Afghanistan by 275 runs in Perth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Australia started their campaign in the world cup with two successive losses. Questions were asked regarding their preparations and team combinations. But Australia have made a remarkable comeback in the tournament with three successive wins. Australia moved 4<sup>th<\/sup> spot with 6 points from 5 matches. He accelerated his innings and reached his century in just 40 balls. David Warner also played very well and hit his second successive hundred in world Cup 2023.
