Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi discussed the worsening security and humanitarian conditions in West Asia in light of the continuing Israeli offensive in Gaza, during their conversation on Saturday. Following their telephonic conversation, Prime Minister Modi said he and Sisi discussed their mutual worries on the rising levels of violence, terrorism, and civilian casualties in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He continued, without bringing up the Israel-Palestine conflict, saying that they both emphasised how vital it is to restore peace and stability while facilitating humanitarian assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, PM Modi said, he spoke with President Al Sisi yesterday. He discussed the worsening humanitarian crisis and security conditions in West Asia. The PM also said, our fears about violence, terrorism, and the death toll among civilians are similar. We agree on the need for early restoration of peace and stability and facilitating humanitarian assistance, PM Modi added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
