He promised he would set up a commission to provide them equal opportunities. Congress General secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra during her election rallies had also promised for a caste census. The census would help to find out the exact number of people in ST,SC and OBC communities in the state of Madhya Pradesh. This will help in framing of policies which would benefit them accordingly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Kamal Nath many people from the Bhartiya Janata Party are going to join the Congress party. Nath was speaking to the media in the state capital Bhopal. He said A Saman Avsar Ayog will be formed for the overall development of the backward classes. Previously in a rally in Sagar district in August Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge had also announced a caste based census in Madhya Pradesh, if the Congress party is elected to power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said Madhya Pradesh is not Kamal Nath\u2019s state. He said Kamal Nath does not have affection for the people of Madhya Pradesh. He said calling Madhya Pradesh as Chaupat Pradesh is an insult to the people of the state. The Madhya Pradesh CM said if Kamal Nath has some enemity with him then he should talk directly to him and not target the people of the state. Chouhan added people will not tolerate the insult of the people or of the nation.
