The 24-meter-tall smog tower could filter 1,000 cubic metres of air each second in a one-kilometer radius. The tower draws in contaminated air and releases cleansed air thanks to its 40 fans and 5,000 air filters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The highest Air Quality Index (AQI) of the year is being experienced in the capital of India. Anand Vihar in Delhi had an AQI of 999 on November 2, while multiple locations in Greater Noida above the 700 threshold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Doctors are advising people to wear masks when leaving their houses because to the hazy air fog that is lingering over Delhi NCR. Long-term coughing, sneezing, wheezing, shortness of breath, burning or wet eyes, migraines, and exhaustion have all been linked to breathing in dirty air.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr Nikhil Modi, Apollo Hospital, said, this time of year marks the beginning of the pollution’s annual rise. Patients with respiratory issues have become more prevalent, and more people are experiencing colds, coughs, watery, irritated eyes, and respiratory issues. All age groups are impacted by this. Time to put on masks and walk outside only when necessary, the dcotor said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), bronchitis, and asthma can all be brought on by air pollution. Polluted air contains harmful chemicals and microscopic particulate matter that can aggravate pre-existing disorders and irritate the respiratory system, making breathing harder and eventually decreasing lung function.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
