Union Home Minister Amit Shah today released the BJP’s manifesto for upcoming elections in Chhattisgarh. Some of the main features of the BJP election agenda for Chhattisgarh include yearly financial aid to married women and landless agricultural labourers, paddy procurement at Rs 3,100 per quintal, and cooking gas cylinders at Rs 500 for low-income people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
An election manifesto is not just a manifesto for the BJP, but a Sankalp Patra (document of resolution) for us, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said, releasing the election manifesto. He also said, Modi’s Guarantee for Chhattisgarh 2023, during a function at Kushabhau Thakre Parisar at the party’s state office in Raipur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As per their decision, they formed the state of Chhattisgarh in 2000. He also promised that within the next five years, they will endeavour to transform it into a developed state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition, the BJP vowed in its manifesto to visit the Ayodhya Ram temple with the state’s citizens and replace one lakh unfilled government positions in two years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Shah, the BJP government will also introduce the Mahtari Vandan Scheme, which will provide married women with an annual financial assistance of Rs. 12,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a same vein, Shah announced the commencement of the Deendayal Upadhyay Krishi Majdoor Yojana, which will provide landless agricultural labourers with an annual salary of Rs. 10,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Moreover, the Union minister announced that students will receive a monthly travel stipend through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) and that women from low-income families will receive cooking gas cylinders at a cost of Rs. 500 apiece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If the Bharatiya Janata Party is elected to power in Chhattisgarh, Shah stated in the first cabinet meeting that funds would be approved for the construction of 1.8 million dwellings under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. In addition, every home will have access to tap water within two years thanks to the Ghar Ghar Nirmal Jal Abhiyan, he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
