Two people were detained by the Mumbai Police Crime Branch on Saturday for reportedly sending emails threatening to kill Reliance Industries’ managing director and chairman, Mukesh Ambani.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mukesh Ambani, the chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries, received many emails threatening his life, prompting the arrest of a 19-year-old Telangana man. Later in the day, Shabad Khan, a 19-year-old accused, was taken into custody from the Gamdevi neighbourhood of Mumbai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On October 27, a person by the name of Shadab Khan sent Mukesh Ambani his first threat email, threatening to shoot him if he didn’t pay the Rs 20 crores.
