The malfunctioning electronic voting machine prevented Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga from participating in the assembly elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Aizawl North-II assembly constituency’s 19-Aizawl Venglai-I YMA Hall voting place is where the Mizo National Front (MNF) President proceeded to cast his vote this morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Chief Minister said, because the machine in question was not working. The CM also said he had been waiting for a while. However, the machine was unable to function, so he stated that he will visit his constituency and cast his vote following the morning meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
21 seats are required to establish the Government. It is our goal that we will be able to obtain at least 25. That’s what we hope. I think we’ll have a substantial majority, he continued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
CM Zoramthanga said, we battled COVID more or less successfully, despite the fact that it was a major issue everywhere in the world. It was a struggle for survival during the Covid period everywhere in the world. In spite of this, Mizoram has accomplished a great deal of social, political, and governmental growth. The CM further said, he thinks they will be able to make the Government so that they can carry out the work that we have established.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Chief Minister said that his party will form the government and that there would not be a hang assembly in Mizoram after leaving the polls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There won’t be a hung Assembly. There will be an MNF government. I’m completely confident in it, he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Even though the MNF is a part of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), which is in the centre, Zoramthanga stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is not an alliance partner of the MNF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
BJP is not a member of any alliance. The NDA is situated in the Centre. BJP said, they do not have an alliance with the BJP or any other party here in the state. Neither we nor they have approached each other thus far. He said they back the NDA even on an issue-by-issue basis here in the state; we are just an NDA partner in the centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Among the most well-known candidates in this race is Zoramthanga. Zoramthanga, who won Aizawl East – I in the 2018 assembly elections, is running from the same seat this time around.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
