In the midst of the ongoing phase 1 assembly votes, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made his way to Chhattisgarh\u2019 Surguja on Tuesday to address the crowd at a rally and raise the alarm for the BJP’s upcoming wave of campaigning leading up to the phase 2 elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PM Modi said, Chhattisgarh’s first round of elections is currently in progress, and from what he has heard, a lot of people are turning out to vote. He further said, Adivasis did not exist for the Congress party following independence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
While the BJP has consistently prioritised the development of Adivasis, the Congress has never shown concern for Adivasis and their children. He also said, did you ever imagine that a woman coming out of an ‘Adivasi’ family could become the President of our country?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
